Osram Opto

Osram Opto Semiconductors' range of high power and high speed Infrared (IR) Light Emitting Diodes (LEDs) with viewing angles from 6 degrees (±3°) to 80 (±40°) degrees, supplied in popular 3 mm (T1) and 5 mm (T1-3/4) diameter packages, the most commonly chosen types of LEDs. Great for all scientific and industrial applications (instruments, control, communication) and most consumer-electronic modifications. The LEDs are available in various peak wavelengths (850 nm, 880 nm and 950 nm), speed (rise/fall times from 10 ns) and die – technologies, including GaAs, GaAlAs/GaAs and GaAlAs/GaAlAs double hetero junction devices. They are the highest power infrared emitters with the lowest forward voltages on the market and ideal for high-current applications. RoHS compliant. Crystal clear and coloured. The cathode is denoted by the shortest leg.
