Osram SFH4556 - High speed power 850nm 5mm IR (infrared) LED (emitter) - 850nm 5 mm LEDs infrared, ROHS. Like Osram SFH4555, but with wider viewing angle and lower radiant intensity. Possible replacement: Vishay TSHG6400 and Vishay TSHG6410.

Technical data:

Peak wavelength 860 nm, centroid wavelength 850 nm,
viewing angle 40 degrees (±20°),
very high radiant intensity: ≥40 mW/sr (typ. 130) mW/sr,
total radiant flux 50 mW (according to data sheet), 37.1 mW (measured at 100 mA, after 60 s warm-up). Our results are slightly below those of the manufacturer, but are far more practical and make it easier to compare different LEDs.
high pulse handling capability - forward current 100 mA, surge current 1.5 A,
low forward voltage 1.5 V / <1.8 V (at 100 mA), 2.4 V / <3.0 V (at 1 A),
short switching times: 12 ns / 12 ns.
