Bucas Recuptex Therapy Rug

The Bucas Recuptex Therapy Rug has been specially designed to help prevent and/or promote the healing of various medical problems in your horse. These conditions include arthritis, kissing spine, sore muscles, tissue damage or other pains. This therapy rug can support the treatment of horses with chronic arthritis or back problems.

How it works

The Bucas Recuptex Therapy Rug is made of fine stainless steel yarn. This material works as a Faraday cage, where the top, padded Recuptex part of the rug reflects the magnetic fields in your horse's body. The maintenance of these fields stimulates blood circulation and the oxygen supply in the body and in your horse's back. This may contribute to the reduction of the swelling and inflammation, which in turn may contribute to a faster recovery. The bottom part of the rug is lined with Stay-dry material.

Use

We recommend that you use the rug for two hours before and two hours after riding, and extend this use if necessary. You can also leave the rug on the horse's back 24/7 if needed, but we recommend that you slowly increase the wearing time of this therapy rug. The material of this rug helps to warm up the horse's muscles and may prevent the horse sweating when wearing the rug for a prolonged time.
