Leon McAuliffe (sometimes without „e“) was one of the most popular Western Swing musicians in the United States, as a member of Bob Wills Texas Playboys or with his own Cimmaroon Boys. At the end of the 1950´s he founded his own Cimmaron label, put occasionally the steel guitar away and started doing some Country and Rock & Roll Songs in his own unique style. We collected these recording into an album, including the much sought after “Cozy Inn” LP as well as most of his chart recordings for the first time.
