The adjustable driving strap prevents the horse from swerving in the carriage. The long beating strap runs over the croup and is attached to the fork in such a way that on the one hand it does not restrict the animal's movements and on the other hand does not allow the hindquarters to rise excessively.

The short flapping strap is an additional strap that is attached to the bottom of the hindquarters.
