Detail The electronic edition includes sources on the history of the book collections of the Sapegas noble family – one of the most outstanding aristocratic families in the history of Belarus who had made an important contribution to the development of national culture. The Sapegas owned big libraries in Slonim, Ruzhany, Derechin, Kodan. At present most books from these collections are kept at Russian National Library, the Library of the Russian Academy of Sciences, the Library of Vilnius University, and the Library of Warsaw University. The edition includes a catalog of books formerly belonged to the Sapegas’ libraries, and also full text copies of the most precious editions from the collections of Russian National Library and sources on genealogy and the bibliography on the history of the Sapegas family and their libraries.
