These small, colourful spoons and forks are lovingly made by hand. Each spoon is composed of a silver-plated brass (maillechort) bowl and a stem / handle which is made from many tiny layers of plastic and enamel. These are very carefully sanded by hand until smooth and then put together. Each piece is the only one of its kind; it is absolutely unique.
Small irregularities in the colour or workmanship are not defects, but proof that they have been made by hand. The espresso spoon can be used equally well as a mocha spoon or as a serving spoon for sugar.
