This woven blanket, also known as “Handira”, was originally worn by the Berber women as a wedding gown. It is sumptuously embroidered with sequins. These days it is now used as a throw for the bed or as a decorative hanging over the bed giving the illusion of a dream from “1,001 Nights.”
Small irregularities in the colour or in the workmanship are not defects, bur proof that it is made by hand.
