The axial fan sucks air through the grid and blows it out at the backside.

Wall mounting:

It is possible to mount the fan on a wall. On the photo you can see the boreholes for the mounting screws.

There are 4 holes each on the front and the back plate.

In the small additional photo at the upper right corner you can see a little black circle. There, one of the four spots is marked where you can put a mounting screw through either the front plate or the back plate.

You can easily press these prepunched spots out for putting the mounting screws through the particular holding plate.

In the additional photo, which shows the back, you can see a black metal ring. This ring can be inserted in the wall hole and then the fan can be fixed to the wall.

This metal ring has a diameter of 610 mm.

The hole on the wall should be at least 610 mm in size. If you remove the ring and the grid, 600 mm will be sufficient. Then you have to assure that nobody can reach into the fan from the back. 

The dimensions of the hole pattern for mounting the 4 screws is 610 mm x 610 mm

Free standing use:

If you want to use the fan standing on the ground, you can put a venting hose over the black metal ring.

With a hose you can transport the vented air to the outside or into another room.
