Christmas market, lots of hats, new designs ♥

 

 

 

Hallo meine Lieben,

kommt es euch auch gerade so vor, dass es mit ganz eiligen Schritten auf Weihnachten zugeht? Vielleicht liegt es auch daran, das ich dieses Jahr so viele Ideen habe, die mit diesem Fest zu tun haben. Und dann stehe ich dieses Jahr noch so sehr auf Rot und will mir so viele Sachen in dieser Farbe stricken. Für den Wintergarten wäre am großen Tisch ein Tischläufer schön. Und rote Stulpen, die man zu kurzen Stiefeln anziehen kann. Aber als erstes musste eine Mütze her.

Auf dem Bild seht ihr sie, meine neue Lieblingsmütze, die ich wirklich täglich trage. Die Anleitung gibt es (leider nur auf Englisch) als kostenlosen Download auf Ravelry: Finlandia von Paige Buursma. Gestrickt habe ich sie aus meiner Merino 100% ARAN in der Farbe Rotweinfleck. Mir ist aufgefallen, dass ich diese Garnbasis dieses Jahr schon sehr oft verwendet habe. Kein Wunder, sie ist kuschelig weich und schön dick, wodurch man recht schnell ein Ergebnis hat ;) Ich will mir diesen Jahr ja auch noch einen Pulli stricken - oder zumindest anschlagen - und ich habe ja schon in einem anderen Blogpost darüber berichtet, was mir alles im Kopf rumschwirrt. Nun denke ich aber, dass ich mir wohl einen schicken Pulli mit dieser Wolle im Norwegermuster machen werde. Mal sehen ;)

Does it just seem like Christmas is almost upon your doorstep? Maybe it's because this year I have so many ideas that have to do with this feast. And then this year I'm still so into red and want to knit so many things in this colour. I would like to have a table runner for the winter garden, red legwarmer, which you can wear with short boots. But first I had to get a hat.

On the picture you can see it, my new favourite hat, which I really wear every day. The pattern is available as a free download on Ravelry: Finlandia by Paige Buursma. I knitted it using my Merino 100% ARAN in the colourway Rotweinfleck. I have noticed that I have used this yarn base very often this year. No wonder, it's super soft and thick, which gives you a quick result ;) I also want to knit a sweater this year - or at least cast it on - and I have already reported in another blog post about what is going on in my head. But now I think that I will make myself a nice Norwegian inspired sweater with this yarn. Let's see ;)

 

Aber bevor ich mit einem Pullover anfange, muss ich erst noch viele, viele Mützen stricken. Am 2. Dezember habe ich nämlich zusammen mit einer lieben Freundin, Daniela vom Stempelhandwerk, einen Stand auf einem Weihnachtsmarkt ganz in der Nähe von uns.

Bei Dani solltet ihr unebedingt mal vorbeischauen. Wir kennen uns schon seit dem Kindergarten und Dani hat schon immer gerne gebastelt. Bei ihr findet ihr wirklich besondere Geschenke aus Papier - ich bin jedes Mal begeistert!

Zum Winkelhaider Christkindlesmarkt werde ich nicht nur reichlich Wolle mitbringen sondern auch handgestrickte Tücher, Socken und Mützen. Deswegen produziere ich gerade fleißig und da es schnell gehen muss - es ist ja nicht mehr lange hin! - ist die dicke Merino 100% ARAN natürlich perfekt.

 

But before can start with a sweater, I have to knit many, many hats. On December 2nd, my dear friend Daniela from Stempelhandwerk and I will have a booth at a Christmas market very close to us.

You should definitely definitely check out Dani's website. We have known each other since kindergarten and Dani has always liked to do handicrafts. She is an expert when it comes to really special presents made of paper - I'm thrilled every time!

I will not only bring plenty of yarn to the Winkelhaider Christkindlesmarkt but also handknitted shawls, socks and hats. That's why I'm busy producing right now and because it has to be fast - there's not much time left! - the thick Merino 100% ARAN is of course perfect.

 

 

 

Mittlerweile kennt ihr mich ja und wisst, dass ich nicht immer nach Anleitungen stricke. Als ich die ersten Mützen fertig hatte, war mein Kopf voll mit vielen neuen Ideen, die ich natürlich auch gleich umsetzen musste. Für euch heißt das, dass ihr euch schon bald über neue Anleitungen freuen könnt ;)

Rechts im Bild könnt ihr die drei Versionen der Mütze "Belenus" sehen. Es wird noch weitere Anleitungen geben (wer will, kann ja mal auf meiner Ravelry Projektseite spitzen), aber das wird noch ein wenig dauern, da ich euch ja nicht nur die Anleitungen sondern auch die passende Wolle dazu anbieten möchte.

Ja, wie ihr sehen könnt, sorgt Weihnachten dieses Jahr dafür, dass ich unglaublich kreativ werde. Diesen Monat gibt es aber noch ein Shoppdate, dass so gar nicht winterlich ist (haltet die Augen offen!) und dann werde ich einen Newsletter verschicken, in dem ich euch verrate, was ich für Dezember alles geplant habe.

Meanwhile you know me and know that I don't always knit according to patterns. When I finished the first hats, my head was full of new ideas, which I had to realize right away. For you this means that you will soon be able to look forward to new knitting patterns ;)

On the right you can see the three versions of the hat "Belenus". There will be more patterns (if you want, you can have a look at my Ravelry project page), but before I can release them, I have to spend some afternoon in the dyeing studio because I also want to offer you the matching yarn of course.

Yes, as you can see, Christmas this year makes me incredibly creative. This month there's another shop update that isn't wintery at all (keep your eyes open!) and after that I'll send you a newsletter telling you what I've planned for December.
