The dried fruit:
oblong, obovate, slightly flattened and slightly curved, 5-7 mm long and 2-3 mm wide. The surface is colored in gray-brown, and with purplish-black dots and the longitudinal occupied ribs. The apex is blunt and easy to spread on the apical surface, a ring is visible, the centre occupies a stylus rest. Narrow base with the light colored demolition area. Hard pericarp; two cotyledons, pale yellowish white and greasy.
Odorless;
Taste, first bitter, then something sharp and anaesthetising.
