he DEF TS system (Draghetti efficenty Flaps) is made of a compact keypad (which also acts as a viewer of the position of the flaps) and by a hydraulic unit which activates the double-action cylinders, which have built-in a sensor that provides real time positioning of the flaps.
The DEF TS system is free from position sensors and hydraulic pipes in direct contact with the marine environment, avoiding in this way to be corroded by external agents. The system is also designed to bring back the flaps in idle position when the engine of the boat is turned off, so as to prevent damages to the piston rod cylinders, caused by salt corrosion and fouling.
